Incoming Master students in Law
The Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel offers a programme with law courses in English to incoming Erasmus students. Incoming Erasmus students who are in the (second) last year of their law study (Master level) can participate in this programme.
These courses are taught in the first semester only.
The first semester of the academic year 2015/2016 will start on 21 September 2015 and end on 1 February 2016.
Incoming Erasmus students must have a good command of English.
Erasmus Belgica students cannot follow this programme. They will participate in the regular Faculty programme which is taught in Dutch (see 'Courses in Dutch').
Important notice: no other courses than those of the programme mentioned below can be followed by incoming Erasmus students. However, if an incoming Erasmus student has a good command of Dutch, then he/she can participate in the Faculty programme which is taught in Dutch.
In case an incoming Erasmus student has to write a Master thesis at their home university, part of the research for and writing of the thesis can be done at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. This research can count for a number of ECTS, to be decided by the home university. The Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel cannot, however, provide supervision.
