Naast de masterproef (verplicht 18 ECTS) dient de student 1 onderzoeksmethodologisch vak volgens het onderwerp van zijn masterproef en verplicht het Brusselse vak te volgen.Hierbij kiest hij 1 taal waarvan ten minste 12 ECTS binnen de gekozen taal en 24 ECTS binnen het gekozen profiel. Binnen de talen Duits, Engels, Nederlands, Frans, Italiaans en Spaans kan ook gekozen worden uit een bijzondere lijst ULB opleidingsonderdelen.
De masterproef (18 ECTS) en Onderzoeksmethodologie: Taalkunde (3 ECTS) zijn verplicht.
