Naast de masterproef (verplicht 18 ECTS) dient de student 1 onderzoeksmethodologisch vak volgens het onderwerp van zijn masterproef en verplicht het Brusselse vak te volgen.Hierbij kiest hij 1 taal waarvan ten minste 12 ECTS binnen de gekozen taal en 24 ECTS binnen het gekozen profiel. Binnen het profiel Taalkunde kan voor de talen Duits, Engels, Nederlands, Frans, Italiaans en Spaans ook gekozen worden uit een bijzondere lijst ULB opleidingsonderdelen.

- Etude approfondie de la linguistique néerlandaise (Prof. J. Jaspers) NED
Tweede Semester
- Etude approfondie de la linguistique synchronique de l'anglais (Prof. P. De Brabanter) ENG
- Questions approfondies de sociolinguistique de l’espagnol (Prof. L. Calabrese) SPAANS
- Etude approfondie de la langue italienne écrite et parlée (Prof. S. Goia) ITAL
De student die hiervan gebruik wenst te maken, deelt dit mee via het formulier 'aanvraag equivalente studiedelen ULB', te vinden op de facultaire website (reglementen en formulieren) en dit voor 30 september (1e semester) en 15 februari (2e semester).
De masterproef (18 ECTS) en Onderzoeksmethodologie: Taalkunde (3 ECTS) zijn verplicht.
