Course Content

During this research training, students perform one or two research projects during a total of three weeks in research groups of the organising universities or at other universities or research institutes associated with the programme. The research training consists of planning and executing a comprehensive set of experiments under the supervision of an experienced researcher, drafting a written report on the research performed and giving an oral presentation.

General competences

Students have learned advanced research techniques in various fields of molecular biology.

Students have learned to plan and execute molecular biolgy experiments autonomously and to report on them, both in written and oral form.

Students can judge the scientific relevance of experimental approaches.

Students can idientify the research group of their interest for making their mastrer’s thesis and possible future collaboration.
