Offer 1 with catalog number 4015952FNR for all students in the 2nd semester at a (F) Master - specialised level.
The student must on a regular basis follow seminars on particle physics. The list of possible seminars will be discussed with the students. Additionally one series of specific lectures might be organized per year. The topics are for example Supersymmetry, Neutrino Physics, etc... The students will write a short report on these lectures.

The student will be exposed to modern research in particle physics. The student should be able to follow and understand a seminar on particle physics research. The student should be able to write a detailed report on the seminar or a research topic.
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
SELF Paper determines 100% of the final mark.

The quality of the reports will reflect into a grading. A discussion of the papers could also be part of the final
grading. The focus is not only on the style of presenting the concepts, but also on the content of the presentation
and the insight in the material.
