Students who want to register for this course, must have must have obtained at least 30 ECTS-credits on bachelor level and must have passed the follwing course: Research Methods for Business Economics. Students who want to register for the bachelorpaper, must also be able to graduate.

Inhoud

Students will apply the skills that they developed in Research Methods for Business and Economics to write a research paper.  The skills they will apply are: searching, reading and processing of scientific literature; referencing and citing; formulation of the research problem and the research questions by addressing a research gap; writing a literature study; designing a methodology; discussing findings and drawing conclusions.

In case guest lectures are organised, attendance is mandatory, since the materials form part of the course content.

This course entails a final paper that is required for completing a Bachelor' s programme and cannot be taken as part of a credit contract.

De beoordeling bestaat uit volgende opdrachtcategorieën:
Bachelorproef bepaalt 100% van het eindcijfer

Binnen de categorie Bachelorproef dient men volgende opdrachten af te werken:

  • Bachelor Paper met een wegingsfactor 100 en aldus 100% van het totale eindcijfer.

Aanvullende info mbt evaluatie

Evaluation is based on assignments throughout the academic year and on the resulting end product in the form of a Bachelor's Paper.

  • To obtain an end score for this course, students need to complete all assignments, attend all tutorials and (feedback) sessions, and deliver all presentations. If a student fails to complete one of the steps, then the end score on the course will be 0/20.
  • In the second session, the grades earned on the intermediate assignments can be kept, while only the revised version of the Bachelor's Paper and the according presentation (poster version) will be re-assessed.
  • Peer evaluation may be applied to differentiate the team score into individual scores.
  • Erasmus students need to contact the course teacher at the beginning of the academic year for an alternative arrangement.
