Summary exercises: The students are asked to extract the essential information from (longer) French

texts and to reproduce these, with footnotes and a bibliography in precisely written language.

Doelstellingen

To acquire an in-depth knowledge of academic French to allow the
student to prepare for the written analysis of the
research fields when preparing the Bachelor dissertation, as well as in
the academic disciplines of the Master's degree.
 

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
Other Exam determines 50% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Written Exam with a relative weight of 50 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

    Note: In the second examination session this will count for 100%

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Continuous Evaluation with a relative weight of 50 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

    Note: Outside the examination session, lapses for the second examination session
