Course Content

In this seminar the students will pass through and integrate the different stages of the social research process systematically. They will do so under the supervision of the coordinators and promoters. Whereas one or a few stages of the social research process are at the centre of the seminars Sociology and Methodology Science, Research Methods, and Data Collection and Processing, the focus in this seminar is on the integration of the stages of social research. More specifically, students are being supplied with the knowledge and skills needed to bring this integration process to a favourable conclusion during some general information sessions organized by the coordinators. In addition, students are divided into several thematic groups in which they investigate a social research topic profoundly under the supervision of a promoter. After all, acquiring skills takes hands-on experience.
