- Course Content
The knowledge, skills and attitudes of the student will be evaluated in a discussion of the case repot. The student willl present his/her case report after wwhich an open questioning of the report will take place.
The case report will need to be drawn up individually. Preparation and presentation in group are not allowed.
The students will have 20 minutes to present his/her case report.
After the presentation, the examniation board may ask additional questions (25 minutes).
Division of the evaluation pointl: 5 for paper, 5 for presentation, 10 for oral examination.
The student will have to obtain at least 50% on this course unit.
This evaluation will take place in June of the second course year.

General comptences
This second course week focuses on practical applications / proceduresin the clinical management of specifc complex pain syndromes. After this course week, participant will be able to:
Understand basic mechanisms underlying specific pain syndroms and the diagnostic upwork of such syndroms.
propose different treatment's options to alleviate pain and suffering. These therapies span pharmalogical, interventional, behavioral and rehabilitations strategies.
Apply an integrated approach that focuses on the interaction of psychosocial and physiological processes in people with chronic pain.
