Course Content

Students become acquainted with the specific properties of the various journalistic genres for the written press (message, report, interview, reportage, background story, analysis, commentary, opinion article, etc.). They study several practical examples that can be imitated and are given the chance to develop their own writing talent in these genres. Their texts are commented on in class.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • werkstukken with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.
