De beoordeling bestaat uit volgende opdrachtcategorieën:
Examen Schriftelijk bepaalt 80% van het eindcijfer
Examen Praktijk bepaalt 20% van het eindcijfer
Binnen de categorie Examen Schriftelijk dient men volgende opdrachten af te werken:
Binnen de categorie Examen Praktijk dient men volgende opdrachten af te werken:
Written examination theory (with closed books) : 80% of the total
The examination theory will focus on the insight of students. It is therefore not a test on the course reproduction capacity of students. Part of the questions use practical examples.
Written examination exercises (with open books) : 20% of the total
If one of the subscores (theory or exercises) is lower than 7/20, the student cannot successfully pass this course. In such a case, the final end score is equal to 9/20 or the calculated weighed average as described above, whatever is lower.
Example: theory: 12; exercises: 6; weighed average is 0.8 x 12 + 0.2 x 6 = 10.8, but capped to 9 because 6 < 7.
Being absent during the examination will be quoted "ABSENT".
Subscores will not be transferred to the second session or to the next academy year.
IN CASE OF ONGOING CORONAVIRUS SITUATION:
If on campus teaching would not be allowed or possible, all classes will be online, using tele and/or video conference. Students should have webcam (camera) and sound in order to be able to follow these online courses. These courses will be given live.
Examination will be then be adapted according to guidelines given by the faculty.
Alternative evaluation could be installed.
All necessary information will be communicated on the relevant VUB CANVAS page.
