Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Other Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • examen with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 100% of the final mark.

    Note: Evaluation methods:
    Periodic and permanent evaluation.

Examination method for the end (= periodic) evaluation during the first examination period (june):
    Oral examination.

Examination method for the end (= periodic) evaluation during the second examination period (august-september):
    Oral examination.

Examination methods for the permanent (= semester work) evaluation:
    Assignment (= “zelfstandige opdracht”).

Possibilities of retake for the permanent (= semester work) evaluation:
Examination during the second examination period is not possible.

Additional information on the examination methods:
Examination on the course material: oral, with written preparation.
The students receive a list of ca. 30 questions in week 10 of the semester. All examination questions will be selected from that list.
Evaluation of the assignment (= “zelfstandig werk”):
    - first progress evaluation prior to the first examination period;
    - final evaluation no later than halfway the second term, based on a written report which is the basis of an oral discussion with the lecturer in charge.
If the student fails to submit the report or does not attend the final evaluation, this will be included in the end examination during the first examination period (june).

    Calculation of the examination mark
Evaluation of the assignment (= “zelfstandige opdracht”): 50%.
    Oral examination: 50%.
