Beoordelingsinformatie

    Toelichting: Written examination.

The exam can be composed of open questions, multiple choice questions and/or exercises.

Example of an exercise: The student receives an amino acid sequence (protein) and has to convert it to its nucleotide sequence (gene, DNA) and design PCR primers that will enable the amplification of the gene to clone it.

    Example of open questions:

What are the possibilities, problems and risks with gene therapy?
How can you genetically modify plants? Which technique will you favor to make sure to not contaminate neighboring organic fields?
What is a micro-array and give an example for what it can be used.
