Studenten toegepaste economische wetenschappen en handelsingenieur kunnen inschrijven voor dit opleidingsonderdeel. Studenten bachelor in de politieke wetenschappen en de sociologie moeten geslaagd zijn voor 'Economie' en voor minstens 30 ECTS-credits op bachelorniveau. Masterstudenten ingenieurswetenschappen - chemie en materialen moeten geslaagd of ingeschreven zijn voor 'Inleiding tot het Bedrijfsbeheer'. Studenten computerwetenschappen kunnen zich inschrijven zonder bijkomende prerequisites.

Course Content

The course is designed to study the basic principles of management, including the functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. In addition to a critical analysis of the key concepts and theories of management, the course will cover a range of contemporary subjects such as ethics, entrepreneurship, leadership, and global business. Short cases, applications, and guest lectures will supplement the theory, so students learn to apply theories and concepts to a more practical setting of everyday business life.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:
