Students need to obtain at least 8/20 for one [or all] parts of the course and a final grade of at least 10/20 in order to pass this course. If a student obtains less than 8/20 for one part, the student will receive the lowest partial grade as the final grade. The partial grade for which you succeeded in the first session can be transferred to the second session and you will not have to take up this course part again.
The multiple-choice exam will be scored by positive scoring with Higher Cesuur. So no points will be deducted for a wrong answer. On the other hand, gaining marks by guessing will be factored into the final score by increasing the pass mark (= cesuur). The cesuur for the exam and the exact conversion table will be communicated on Canvas and in the exam instructions.
