The ASO will deepen into a wide range of domains within the specialism needed for the practical application, that is mentioned in the internship and related to the final qualification as defined under ‘physician’ expert level.

Theoretical module Anaesthesiology: every Tuesday morning from 6.45am – 7.45am – alternating ASO/staff – preparation 2h
Journal club: once a month 1h – with the preparation of 1h by ASO
Theoretical and practical introduction to basic echocardiography (for 3 ° -5 ° y): every Wednesday morning 6.45am - 7.45am
Evening seminars: 1x per 2 months 2 hours (given once a year by ASOs - preparation 3h)
Attend a (international) conference once a year (1 day)
Morbidity staff meetings: 4x 90 minutes per year (with preparation by ASO 2h)
Interuniversity postgraduate ('AVU' course): via website recorded lessons and slide presentations; as preparation for the exam after 1 ° and after 2 ° year. Also, preparation for the clinical exam with 5 stations at the end of 5 ° year
