The following statistical techniques will be seen during this course:

  • Introduction: relevant basic principles of descriptive and inferential statistics, overview of multivariate analysis techniques
  • Multiple regression analysis, including interaction effects, mediation effects and dummy regression
  • Binary and multinomial logistic regression analysis
  • Poisson Regression and Negative Binomial Regression analysis
  • Generalized Linear Models

Beoordelingsinformatie

De beoordeling bestaat uit volgende opdrachtcategorieën:
Examen Schriftelijk bepaalt 100% van het eindcijfer

Binnen de categorie Examen Schriftelijk dient men volgende opdrachten af te werken:

  • Written Exam met een wegingsfactor 50 en aldus 50% van het totale eindcijfer.
  • Computer Exam (SPSS) met een wegingsfactor 50 en aldus 50% van het totale eindcijfer.

Aanvullende info mbt evaluatie

The written exam is composed of two parts.

The first part (50%) involves both theoretical and practical open questions.

For the second part, students will solve practical questions with the help of computer software, including SPSS (50%).

This exam targets insight in rather than reproduction of the subject matter. Students need to pass for the total exam.
