Course Content

In the hospital, the doctor-specialist enters a complex environment and fulfills a central position in the multi-disciplinary team. The course unit focuses on preparing the doctor to this. As such, he can take up his place and play an actively participating role in improving the care quality.

Contentwise, the following subjects will be touched upon:

Structure of the hospital; basic concepts of the care organization; aspects of liability; empowering; reflection on one’s own actions; self-management; methodology of quality and change management; models and methods of interdisciplinary and transmural cooperation; dealing with mistakes; leadership and management techniques; methods of capacity management.
