Course Content

Ergonomy is approached from an economic and from a public health situation.  Ergonomic design as well as the study and analysis of the workload, including posture and movement are essential elements of the course.
Methods and practical implication are discussed and demonstrated.
The "S of prevention" will be instructed through practical examples, demonstrations and international literature.

The exam "ergonomics and prevention" consists of a written evaluation for the part prevention and an oral evaluation for the part ergonomics.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
Written Exam determines 50% of the final mark.

Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Examen Ergonomie with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Examen Preventie with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

- 50% on Ergonomy exam
- 50% on Prevention exam
