Ergonomy is approached from an economic and from a public health situation. Ergonomic design as well as the study and analysis of the workload, including posture and movement are essential elements of the course.
Methods and practical implication are discussed and demonstrated.
The "S of prevention" will be instructed through practical examples, demonstrations and international literature.
The exam "ergonomics and prevention" consists of a written evaluation for the part prevention and an oral evaluation for the part ergonomics.
- The student understands the design and / or improvement of machinery, artefacts and technical systems, tasks and movements that promote the healthy functioning of individuals in a safe and comfortable evironment.
- The student understands the prevention of (sports) injuries
The student can assess existing scientific research on quality, select, interpret and distill the impact on practice.
The student applies the scientific standards and the ethical code related to ergonomics. He is also aware of tje variability of scientific research by external circumstances or new insights. This includes a desire to engage in lifelong learning.
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
Written Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
